No. You can safely use NFC contactless payment technology with your phone, as the Cardprotector for MagSafe is designed not to interfere. Meanwhile, your cards remain RFID protected: they cannot be read or skimmed when inside the aluminium casing.
Yes, they are safe. The Cardprotector for MagSafe includes built-in magnetic shielding to protect your cards. Moreover, most modern payment cards no longer have magnetic strips, and if they do, these are usually high-quality strips that are not affected by the Cardprotector’s magnet.
However, please avoid placing your phone on a wireless charger while the Cardprotector for MagSafe is still attached, as this may damage your cards.
